The header is my latest watercolor. I'm a huge fan of Shel Silverstein's work, so my next project will be to illustrate a couple of his poems.

This one's wonderful... the perfect balance of line and the washy qualities of watercolor, with a strong color palette! Thank you for your wonderful comments on my own work... and, to answer your question, if I knew where my ideas come from, I would go there directly (instead of the hard, long way)! The best answer I could give would be...I am inspired by stories, archetypes and "what ifs?"
